“HOW TO BEAT THE COMPLIANCE GAME?”
This presentation outlines an approach for dealing with reviews and assessments ranging from internal and external audits, risk and certification reviews, and formal compliance and regulatory exams. At a high-level, a framework will be presented that will help anyone new to their role, or simply struggling with too much to do and too little time, put together a workable plan of attack…or recovery! Practical examples will come from the latest ISO 9000 requirements as well from the world of banking and finance where a business-beneficial approach to data quality and reporting will serve as our starting point. Of course, the whole presentation can be turned inside-out and applied equally well to how to conduct reviews and audits. Finally, as part of the presentation, you, the audience, will get to help apply an old familiar tool in what might be a new–and hopefully practical to our section–way.
